"Why don't you sell amigurumis inspired by famous characters, like those from anime, movies or games?"

Disclaimer on Copyrighted Characters

We inform you that we do not sell amigurumis of copyrighted characters, such as characters from movies, cartoons, games, books, or registered trademarks.

This decision is in compliance with the Copyright Law (Brazilian Law No. 9.610/98) and other applicable regulations, which prohibit the reproduction and commercialization of intellectual works without proper authorization from the rights holders.

Unauthorized use of characters may constitute a legal violation, subject to civil and criminal penalties. Out of respect for the creators, the companies holding the rights, and current legislation, we have chosen to strictly follow these regulations.

We appreciate your understanding and support for ethical and responsible craftsmanship.

In the case of making amigurumis of well-known characters, these works may only be made for personal use, as part of a non-profit hobby, and are not available for sale or commission.

We appreciate your understanding and support for ethical and responsible craftsmanship.

"Are amigurumis safe for children of all ages?"

Yes, but with caveats! Our amigurumis are handmade pieces made with great care and attention to detail, but they are not children's toys. They contain small parts (such as safety eyes, accessories, and internal wires in some cases for articulating the dolls' arms and legs), which can pose a choking or ingestion hazard, even if the eyes, for example, have safety locks.

Therefore, we do not recommend the use of amigurumis with small parts or internal wires for children under 6 years old, especially those under 3 years old.

These products are intended for decorative or collectible purposes, ideal for adults, teenagers, or for decorating spaces such as themed bedrooms, party tables, or shelves.

NOTE: FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEARS OF AGE, I RECOMMEND AMIGURUMIS WITHOUT ANY SMALL PIECES. THE AMIGURUMI'S EYES NEED TO BE EMBROIDERED!

How to care for my Amigurumi?

No washing machine!

Proper cleaning is essential for preserving amigurumi, but many mistakes can compromise its quality. Learn the correct methods to keep them clean without damaging the threads and filling.

1.1. Dry Cleaning: Use a vacuum cleaner with a small, gentle nozzle to remove accumulated dust. For hair or lint, lightly wipe the surface with masking tape.

1.2. Cleaning with a Damp Cloth

Wet a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap.

Gently rub the surface of the amigurumi, avoiding soaking it.

For stains, use a soft toothbrush with gentle movements.

1.3. Hand Washing

If the amigurumi is very dirty, immerse it in a container with cold water and mild soap.

Squeeze gently without twisting to prevent the inner fibers from losing their shape.

Rinse well and remove excess water by pressing with a towel.

1.4. Proper Drying

Never use a dryer!

Let dry naturally in the shade on a flat surface, do not hang!

To speed up the process, use a fan on low power.

2. How to Store Amigurumis Properly

The way you store your amigurumis directly affects their durability. Here are some best practices:

2.1. Avoid Sun Exposure

Direct sunlight can fade the colors of the yarn.

Choose shaded or covered locations.

2.2. Protection from Moisture

Humid environments encourage mold and can deteriorate the yarn.

Use silica gel or cotton bags with baking soda to absorb moisture.

2.3. Proper Storage

Store amigurumis in organizer boxes or non-woven bags to avoid dust.

Avoid regular plastic, as it can retain moisture and damage the fibers.

Never stack too many pieces to avoid deforming the amigurumis below.

3. Thread and Seam Care

Amigurumis are delicate, and small details make all the difference in their preservation:

3.1. Avoid Pulling on Loose Threads

If you notice a loose thread, don't pull! Use a tapestry needle to hide it in the weave.

If the thread is too long, carefully cut it with small scissors.

3.2. Reinforcement of Seams

If you notice loose seams, reinforce them with thread of the same color to prevent the piece from unraveling.

Periodically inspect that all parts are securely fastened.

4. Maintaining Shape and Filling

Over time, the filling can shift, causing the piece to become misshapen. To avoid this:

4.1. Avoid Wrinkling When Storing

When stacking or storing, avoid compressing the amigurumis to maintain their original shape.

If they lose their shape, gently press and shape them with your hands until they return to their original shape.

4.2. Redistributing the Stuffing

If you notice that the stuffing is clumping together in one spot, gently move it around with your fingers to better redistribute it.

Conclusion

Caring for your amigurumi is simple, but it makes all the difference in preserving your pieces. With proper cleaning, proper storage, and regular maintenance, your amigurumi will remain beautiful for many years.

"Can I change/customize the amigurumis with any colors I want?"

Yes! It's possible to make small color adjustments to the available amigurumis, as long as this doesn't alter the essence or original style of the character or model. These changes must respect the original amigurumi pattern, ensuring it remains true to the proposed design.

These adjustments are made exclusively based on the patterns in my internal catalog or those already available on the website. I don't create custom creations outside of these standards.

If you have any color suggestions within these possibilities, I'd be happy to hear them!
